Niagara College Incident Management

The Niagara College Incident Management Team (IMT) convenes at the direction of the Senior Vice President, College Operations, to assist with the response to emergencies affecting the College.

The IMT supports campus/site operations, emergency communications and business continuity from the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), or virtually. At a high level, the Incident Management Team will:

  • Manage incidents at the College level
  • Provide a point of contact for external emergency response agencies (e.g. police, fire, EMS)
  • Coordinate emergency notifications, media and communications activities
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including coordinating with internal and external partners
  • Report progress to College Executive and Board of Governors
