Niagara College’s Work Alone Program provides regular security check-ins to anyone who is working or studying on campus after regular business hours.
Students and staff working or studying late on-campus are asked to notify Security about their location. While conducting their patrols, Security Guards will make a point to drop in on anyone working or studying after hours.
You will be asked to provide your location and how long you expect to be working or studying on campus.
Each hour, you will receive a phone call or an in-person check-in from our Security Guards.
You must notify Security before you leave campus. You can call the Security Control Centre at 905-735-2211, ext. 6999, or you can stop by the Security Office on your way out.
If you do not notify Security that you are leaving, Security will attempt to reach you to confirm your safety.
