The College developed a tiered pricing structure for students, employees and visitors who use the EV chargers. Drivers who input their name and student or employee number into the ChargePoint app can access the following pricing:
User Group | Hourly Rate | Idle Fee |
---|---|---|
Students | Free | $5.00/hr after 45 minutes of full charge |
Staff | $1.00/hr | $5.00/hr after 45 minutes of full charge |
Visitors (non-staff/student) | $3.00/hr | $10.00/hr after 30 minutes of full charge |
The idle fee applies to any fully charged vehicle following a 45-minute grace period. This is to ensure that spaces are available for those who need it. Drivers are asked to kindly move their vehicle out of the EV charging space once their battery has reached full charge.
Fees will contribute to operation and maintenance costs. Pricing will be reviewed annually and is subject to change.
