Principles of Human Resource Management
In this course, you will critically examine how effective human resources management (HRM) is positioned as a strategic enabler of organizational goals in contemporary organizations in Canada. This course examines all functional aspects of HRM, including legal requirements and specifically human rights legislation. You will critically assess human resources policies and practices in Canadian organizations, including diversity initiatives, job analysis, talent management and staffing (recruitment and selection), training and development, performance management, total rewards systems, health and safety, and employee labour relations.
