New CPR-BLS & AED (HCP) Full Certification
This two-day course is geared toward health care providers that require more comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for the workplace or work in a medical response environment or hospital setting. This interactive program includes CPR training for adults, infants and children, 2 person CPR, AED, artificial respiration, bag-valve make use and pulse checks. Certificates are valid for three years and are used upon successful completion of the course.
New CPR-BLS & AED (HCP) Recertification
Those enrolling in this course must have a current, valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certificate and will be asked to provide proof of certification by the instructor. This renewal course is for those with a 3-year certification who have completed the First Aid, CPR, AED -HCP (Health Care Provider) course. The CPR component of the certification must be renewed yearly.
This renewal is geared towards healthcare providers that work in a medical environment or hospital. Additions to the curriculum include two rescuer CPR, bag-valve mask use, artificial respiration and pulse checks. Certificate is issued upon successful completion.
New Standard First Aid, CPR C & AED (Adult, Child and Infant)
This comprehensive course provides training in a wide variety of scenarios and meets the Canadian Labour Code and WSIB requirements. Students will receive a Reference Guide and a provincially recognized certificate for First Aid and CPR. The certificate is valid for three years. It is recommended that the CPR training be renewed yearly.
New RENEWAL Standard First Aid, CPR C & AED
This 1-day renewal course if for individuals wishing to renew their St. Johns Ambulance standard First-Aid Level C-AED certification. Renewals are permitted for certifications that have not yet expired. For ongoing renewals, this course must be alternated with a 2-day standard course. Certification is valid for 3 years and are issued upon successful completion of the course.
