In this course, you'll explore how Human Resources Management (HRM) plays a key role in helping organizations meet their goals, especially in the Canadian workplace. You'll learn how HR goes beyond hiring and payroll to become a strategic part of how businesses succeed. The course covers all core HR functions, including legal responsibilities and human rights in the workplace. You will take a closer look at real-world HR practices in Canadian organizations, such as promoting workplace diversity, job design, recruitment and selection, training and development, managing performance, compensation and benefits, health and safety, and employee-labour relations. By the end, you will understand how effective HR practices contribute to strong, ethical, and inclusive organizations.
