Course Feedback Survey

Course feedback is an essential component of all courses offered for credit at Niagara College, and provides a systematic and consistent mechanism for gathering and responding to input from students.

A student Course Feedback Survey for each course each term is used to measure students’ perceptions of the learning context. It assists in the identification of areas of strengths and areas needing improvement in college course offerings.

Our course evaluations for me are a solid tool for both personal reflection and a wakeup call for concrete changes of direction so that the five “real” skills of excellent teaching (patience, creativity, collaboration, personality, and self-discipline) are integrated into classroom performance here at Niagara. I have never shied away from the evaluation process in my many years of teaching. Using the evaluation process at the “end of my classes” to measure my “customers” satisfaction level on everything, assignments, group work, presentations, midterms my preparation and most importantly educational enjoyment beyond the course outline has always been important for me.
