Create Your Account
MyNC is an online portal account that allows applicants and current students to access important academic information.

Review Transfer Credits
Students with previous post-secondary education can acquire transfer credits.
- Confirm the balance and due date in My Financials.
- Your reserved space in the program expires as of the due date of your tuition and fees. If payment is not received by the due date, you may lose your space in the program. You may be considered for re- admission if there is space available upon request.
- A $250 non-refundable Tuition and Fees Deposit can be paid (by your due date) to place you in the queue to select your timetable. Be sure to check the due date for your remaining balance of fees owing on your MyNC account.

Activate your Niagara College Email Account
After we have received your payment, you may activate your NC Email Account. Please allow 2-3 business days for payment processing before activating your email account.
Your student email is used by the college to send you information regarding key dates, reminders, and college events. -
Learn about BrightSpace
BrightSpace is Niagara College’s online learning system.
Once classes begin, you will access your courses and connect with your instructors using the D2L Brightspace learning platform. -
Student ID Card
New Students: Submit your photo online for your Student ID card.
Note: Your NC email account must be activated first.

Submit your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
Submit your SIN – The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requires all Canadian post-secondary institutions to collect Social Insurance Numbers (SINs) to be recorded on the T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificate.

NC Engage – Learn about events, workshops, volunteer and leadership opportunities.
Register in your Classes
- Review the Timetable Selection Dates for the term in the Announcements section of MyNC. Dates vary by program and open at 7:00AM.
- Review the How-To guide: Select a Timetable Block.
- Electives: If your program requires an elective, you will be prompted to choose one after you enroll in your timetable. You should do this as soon as you select your timetable, as space is limited.
After Registration
- OSAP – Log onto your OSAP application to check your OSAP Message Centre, Required Documents, and Funding Summary.
- The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides loans, grants, and bursaries to Ontario post-secondary students. You should submit your online OSAP application at least 4 weeks before the start of your program to allow sufficient time for verification and processing.

It is important to us that you not only attend Niagara College, but that you are successful while you are here. We encourage you to access the financial resources available to assist you with funding your education. NC provides many sources of financial assistance to full-time students in the form of scholarships, bursaries and on-campus employment opportunities to help with post-secondary costs.

The Campus Store at NC offers textbooks, supplies, computer accessories, trade and reference books, clothing, giftware and more.
Welland Campus students can shop in-person at the Welland Campus Store or order online. Online orders can be sent to your home or to campus.
Daniel J. Patterson Campus students can order online and have your order sent to your home or to campus.
Books and supplies will become available prior to the start of term, typically once students are enrolled in their timetables.

Your NCSAC (Niagara College Student Administrative Council), through We Speak Student offers a Health and Dental Plan for domestic students to help with health-related costs during their studies.

Consider your Parking, Locker Rental and Meal Plan requirements.
Download and register your Transit App to use the NC U-PASS (Universal Bus Pass).
Review your timetable during the first week of classes to monitor changes to class times or locations.
