Education News: Ecosystem Restoration students receive funding from WWF-Canada for Niagara-on-the-Lake conservation projects

On February 4, Education News Canada shared NC’s release about two student-led ecosystem restoration projects set to take root in Spring 2022 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The projects – the installation of a MOTUS Wildlife Tracking System and enhancements to the campus’s existing pollinator garden – are being funded through Go Wild School Grants from the World Wildlife Fund Canada.

Students in NC’s Ecosystem Restoration graduate certificate program represent two of the 10 post-secondary projects from institutions across Canada that received funding.
