Apply by March 4 for the President’s Award for Innovation in Student Learning and Success

A  video message from President Sean Kennedy:

The spirit of innovation thrives at NC.

It’s an important part of our shared commitment to our students, who are at the heart of everything we do.

I want to say to all of our amazing employees: this spirit of innovation shines within you as you push boundaries, and explore new ways of teaching, engaging and supporting our students.

It sparks new initiatives that create exciting opportunities for our students and leads them to success –opportunities that expand their network and connect them with the community. Opportunities that make our world a better place, that promote diversity, inclusivity, sustainability, and social responsibility.

The President’s Award for Innovation in Student Learning and Success celebrates our NC innovators and helps their initiatives grow.

This award was driven by your feedback and input from across our college community. This new award recognizes individuals and teams alike, including unique collaborations that often involve students and community members.

It’s our first award with built-in opportunities for recipients to share best practices and help inspire innovation in others. And it’s the first to provide $1,000 to help recipients take their initiatives to the next level.

In the spring, we will celebrate the recipients of our President’s Award. Remember, this could be you and your colleagues.

Visit our award website for full details on how to apply, and submit your nomination to be a part of NC’s growing legacy of innovation. The nomination deadline is March 4.

For those who are currently working on the award application or considering completing one, we encourage you to attend the information session on February 17.
