NC Cares Step Up Challenge

Get moving for a good cause with the NC Cares Step Challenge, running October 26 to November 1 in support of Niagara College’s 2026 United Way workplace campaign.
Employees are invited to compete in a week-long step challenge for a chance to win a prize valued at $100, all while supporting individuals and families in need across Niagara.
Registration is open October 12 to 20, with a $10 entry fee supporting the campaign. Participants will track their steps using the free StepUp Pedometer Step Counter app, available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Following registration and payment, participants will receive an email from the NC Cares campaign co-chairs with a link to join the NC Cares Step Challenge team ahead of the October 26 start date.
The challenge takes place during Fall Break Week, and employees can participate from anywhere.
The NC Cares co-chairs will contact the winner by email on November 3.
