As the Fall term is set to begin across NC campuses, food service providers are serving up fresh hours alongside some new additions.
What’s new
Skip the line at Tim Hortons
Self Order Kiosks will be live at both the Welland and Daniel J. Patterson campuses for faster service at the start of Fall term. Dedicated kiosk hosts will be on hand during the first two weeks to assist guests. Counter service and mobile ordering through the Tim Hortons app will remain available.
Fresh on the menu
Benchmark updates: At the DJP Campus, Benchmark Café is now the Niagara College Culinary Arts Café. Offerings are continually evolving to enhance experiential learning and provide new opportunities for students.
“Throughout the term, guests can expect a variety of new and seasonal items introduced on a rotating basis,” said Benchmark Catering Chef Justin Downes.
Benchmark Restaurant plans to launch a new menu mid-fall with seasonal adjustments featured on the current menu in the meantime.
Vineyard lunches: The food truck behind the Craft Beverage Centrewill remain open through September and October, weather permitting.
Fast fuel: Canteen vending machines are now available at both the Welland and DJP Campuses offering sandwiches, chips, bars and beverages. Look out for coffee vending machines as well.
