NC’s release was shared by the NOTL Local announcing a new two-year partnership with Walker Industries that builds on the organizations’ longstanding relationship to advance sustainable horticulture and circular economy innovation.
The agreement provides students in NC’s School of Environment and Horticulture with access to premium, sustainable growing media while enhancing the College’s campus. As part of the partnership, Walker Industries will donate approximately 500 cubic yards of high-performance soil, mulch and growing media annually to support campus beautification, greenhouse production and hands-on learning across several academic programs.
