A message from Julie Stitt, Associate Director, Centre for Professional & Organizational Development:
We are pleased to share that our College-wide employee engagement days – Niagara Day and Day of Reflection – will be moving to new, permanent dates in the College calendar. Beginning this fall, Niagara Day will take place on Wednesday morning of Fall break week and Day of Reflection will take place Tuesday of Winter break week.
In the upcoming academic year, Niagara Day will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 and Day of Reflection on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
These events are a unique part of our organizational culture and this change will ensure appropriate notice of the event, encourage increased participation, and will ease the scheduling challenges between these events and other College activities. We ask that you note these dates in any school and departmental calendars you maintain and, where it is possible to do so, consider these dates in your planning.
Specific details will be communicated in advance of each event as it approaches.
