A message from Gordana Vitez, manager, ncLibraries and Learning Commons:

The official announcement ending the Government of Ontario’s contract with LinkedIn Learning has arrived. After negotiations between LinkedIn Learning and the Ontario government were unsuccessful, access to LinkedIn Learning will end for all Ontario institutions, including Niagara College, on September 30, 2020.

What this means for you

  • If you link to LinkedIn Learning courses, videos, or content of any kind via Blackboard, access will end as of September 30, 2020.
  • If you use LinkedIn Learning for a personal learning plan, access will end as of September 30, 2020.
  • Your LinkedIn Learning history can be retained if you link your personal LinkedIn Learning profile with your College account. This will not extend your access beyond September 30, 2020 but simply retain a list of videos and courses that you used while NC had access to LinkedIn Learning.
