United Way campaign update: Draw winners announced, Christmas stollen fundraiser


A message from NC’s United Way Campaign Committee:

Congratulations to our November 11th winner, Dawit Eshetu and our November 18th winner, Carolyn Mullin! Dawit scored a wine and beer prize pack from our Teaching Winery and Brewery, and Carolyn picked-up a Matrix shampoo and conditioner combo, plus a cut and style from Gloss.

To date, we have raised $36,766 – only $3,234 away from our target goal! There are still two weeks of draws remaining, and we need your help. Donate online today: www.niagaracollege.ca/nccares/.

Christmas Stollen Fundraiser
Stollen is a traditional German bread usually enjoyed during Christmas. Often coated with sugar and icing sugar, this bread is filled with Rum soaked fruit, nuts, spices and a centre of marzipan. It is a great accompaniment for your Christmas sweet tray. Made in house by the CFWI Bake Club and Chef Karen Schoenrank.

Orders due: December 11
Pick-up dates: December 12 and December 16 (L20 in Welland and Bench to Go in NOTL)
Pick-up Times: December 12 (12:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at both locations) and December 16 (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at both locations)
