The Canadian Food and Wine Institute at Niagara College is pleased to unveil its new Expert Edge Excursion packages.
The first excursion on Saturday, September 17 will explore the wonderful region of Niagara. The tour will showcase the very best wine, beer, spirits and culinary producers Niagara has to offer.
Guests will be accompanied by one of Niagara College’s industry experts while getting a backstage pass to some of Niagara’s hidden gems. The excursion offers guests the opportunity to meet the industry’s leading professionals and investigate into what makes their products world class.
Guests will be treated to a day of culinary experiences, matched with Niagara’s award-winning wines, spirits and beers.

• 9:15 a.m. Tour of the Niagara College Teaching Winery and Wine Visitor + Education Centre
• 10:30 a.m. Tour of Pondview Estate Winery
• 11 a.m. Niagara Oast House Brewery tour and tasting
• 12:45 p.m. Lunch at Southbrook Vineyards
• 2 p.m. Upper Canada Cheese tour and tasting
• 3:30 p.m. Cocktails at Dillion’s Small Batch Distillers
• 5 p.m. Megalomaniac Winery tour and tasting
• 6:30 p.m. Three-course dinner at Benchmark Restaurant at Niagara College
Tour price ($220 plus tax per person) includes:

• Wine/beer Samples at each winery/brewery;
