I hope you will join your colleagues and me at this year’s Day of Reflection, which takes place April 28 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus.
At this year’s event we will begin a college-wide discussion around a new strategic plan. As our 2013-2016 Strategic Plan comes to a close, we are looking to develop a new set of goals, priorities and objectives that will serve as our guide to new growth and success as a leader in applied education.
To help us begin this important dialogue, we are fortunate to be joined by Ken Steele, a leading postsecondary education guru, futurist, and president of Eduvation. Ken will discuss the changing world of postsecondary education, emerging trends and will lead us through an interactive and entertaining discussion of how these changes could influence Niagara College.
Successful strategic plans are created collaboratively and include ideas and feedback from all corners of an organization; they define an organization’s values and reflect its culture. Day of Reflection is an opportunity for all of us to contribute to this important initiative, and I hope you will take part.
Day of Reflection takes place at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus gymnasium. Doors open at 7:45 am and the program begins at 8:30 am.To help organizers, please be sure to register online for this event. For registration information, click here.
I look forward to seeing you there.
