A message from Betty Ann and Rick Chandler:
Our sincere thank you to all who helped to make our retirement fundraiser such a success. Not only did we get to spend quality time with our friends, family, colleagues, and past students, but we were able to bring our scholarship fund to the grand total of $10,000 in support of our “raison d’etre, our students.” We wish to thank all of those who contributed in the way of sealed bid auction items, door prizes, buying 50/50 tickets or a ticket of entry even though they weren’t able to attend. All of these contributions helped us to reach our goal.
We have been blessed beyond measure with our employment at Niagara College and are very proud of the young people we have been associated with, the colleagues and friends we have worked with, and the experiences that we have enjoyed both at home and abroad.
We also wish to thank those who have expressed sadness at our leaving instead of dancing the “yeh yeh” dance!! As we move into this next exciting phase of our lives, we want to wish everyone health and happiness in theirs.
