The Institutional Surveys Calendar shows applicant, student, and graduate/alumni surveys (of at least 1,500 recipients) at Niagara College.
Its purpose is to promote planning and coordination of survey activity to minimize undue burden on participants. Please check the calendar as you plan your survey research projects. For external surveys, please allow sufficient time (2-4 weeks or more depending on complexity) for the approvals processes at Niagara College.
IAR Survey Support
The level of support provided by Institutional Analytics and Reporting (IAR) will vary based on the size and scope of the survey:
Surveys with fewer than 1,500 participants: IAR will provide consultative support and assist with the initial survey setup and launch. For future iterations, the survey will generally be transitioned to the requesting department to administer independently, with IAR available for consultation as needed.
Surveys with 1,500 or more participants: The same approach applies; however, given the broader reach of these surveys, IAR will provide additional support, including guidance on survey communications and the development or refinement of language for mailers, webpages, and other participant-facing materials.
