Official Terms and Conditions (Ontario only)

1. Sponsor and Administrator

This prize draw (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Niagara College Canada (“Niagara College”).

The Contest begins at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time on October 5, 2026, and closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 18, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the Contest Period will not be accepted.

The Communicable Disease Surveillance (CDS) Feedback Survey for Niagara College students (“CDS Feedback Survey”), associated with this Contest, is conducted by Student Health & Counselling Services, with survey administration and technical support from Institutional Analytics & Reporting (IAR).

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:

• are residents of Ontario, Canada;
• are Niagara College students who have successfully completed their Communicable Disease Surveillance (CDS) medical requirements and received clearance confirmation;
• completed the CDS Feedback Survey during the Contest Period; and
• submitted the separate CDS Prize Draw Entry Form during the Contest Period using their Niagara College (NC) student email address. Personal email addresses will not be accepted.

Only one (1) prize-draw entry per individual is permitted.

If an entrant is under the age of majority (18 years of age), their parent or legal guardian will be responsible for all matters relating to the Contest, including acceptance of the prize and signing any required documentation.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win:

• employees of Niagara College;
• their spouses, parents, children, or siblings; and
• any person residing in the same household as such employees.

3. How to Enter

No purchase is required to enter or win the Contest.

Eligible students may enter the Contest by:

1. completing the Communicable Disease Surveillance (CDS) Feedback Survey during the Contest Period; and
2. submitting the separate CDS Prize Draw Entry Form made available after completion of the survey.

The Prize Draw Entry Form is separate from the CDS Feedback Survey. Information provided through the Prize Draw Entry Form cannot be connected to survey responses, which helps maintain the anonymity of the survey.

All prize-draw entries must be complete and are subject to verification by Niagara College. Entrants who do not follow the entry instructions, provide the required information, meet the eligibility requirements, or comply with these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified.

Niagara College collects personal information submitted through the Prize Draw Entry Form under the authority of the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act. The information will be used by Niagara College for the purpose of administering the Contest, including verifying eligibility, conducting the prize draw, contacting selected entrants, and distributing prizes.

4. Prize Draw

Eligible students who complete the Communicable Disease Surveillance (CDS) Feedback Survey and submit the separate Prize Draw Entry Form by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 18, 2026, will be eligible for the prize draw.

The prize draw will take place after the close of the Contest Period and will award two (2) $25 Amazon gift cards, with one prize awarded to each of two students.

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Prize Distribution

Individuals selected through the prize draw as potential winners must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question, administered by Niagara College, before they can be confirmed as a winner and receive a prize.

Potential winners may also be required to confirm their eligibility and provide information reasonably required to administer the Contest and distribute the prize. If a selected entrant does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or does not provide the requested information within the specified time, they may be disqualified and an alternate eligible entrant may be selected.

If a potential winner is under 18 years of age, their parent or legal guardian must complete any required consent or documentation before the entrant can be confirmed as a winner.

Potential winners will be contacted directly by Institutional Analytics & Reporting (IAR) from [email protected] using the Niagara College student email address provided through the Prize Draw Entry Form. The email will include instructions regarding the skill-testing question, eligibility confirmation, and prize distribution.

Once all required steps have been successfully completed, the entrant will be confirmed as a winner and will receive one (1) $25 Amazon gift card.

Detailed prize distribution instructions will be provided to confirmed winners through their Niagara College student email address.

Each prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash, except at the sole and absolute discretion of Niagara College.

6. Winner Notification and Privacy

Niagara College will not publicly disclose the names or other identifying information of confirmed prize winners in connection with this Contest.

Information collected through the Prize Draw Entry Form will be used only for purposes related to administering the Contest, including verifying eligibility, contacting selected entrants, completing the winner-confirmation process, and coordinating prize distribution.

7. Acceptance of Rules

By participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees:

• that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these rules;
• to be bound by the decisions of Niagara College, which are final; and
• to provide proof of eligibility if requested.

Participation in the Contest is voluntary.

8. Limitation of Liability

Niagara College will not be responsible for:

• late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries;
• typographical or production errors;
• entries that fail to comply with these rules;
• internet failures or technical malfunctions involving networks, computer systems, servers, software, or service providers;
• any losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in the Contest or its sponsorship; or
• use or non-use of a prize by a winner.

Each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors, administrators, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest. Each entrant further agrees to indemnify and hold such parties harmless from any claims arising from their participation in the Contest.

9. Governing Law

The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, territorial, municipal and local laws. This Contest shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the province of Ontario.

10. Tax

All applicable government taxes, if any, on the prize won are the sole responsibility of the Winner of the prize.
