Good2Talk

Good2Talk is a mental health line for students in college/university. It provides professional counselling, mental health information and connections to local resources. Students who are concerned about student life, health or mental well-being can call Good2Talk.

Good2Talk is a free, province-wide service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We recognize that this can be a very stressful time for everyone. Good2Talk will remain open and all students can contact us 24/7 throughout this time.

GuardMe Student Support Program

Transitioning to college life can be a wonderful and exciting life experience, but it can also be a time of tremendous stress and isolation as you learn to navigate new experiences and learn to balance academics with life on campus.  The GuardMe Student Support Program is a service available to all students that can be contacted anytime – day or night – to speak with a Student Support Advisors who can provide support and advice.

Advisors can help you anytime, anywhere with:
  • Being successful at school
  • Relationships with friends and family
  • Stress, anxiety, sadness, loneliness and more
Advisors:
  • Keep your information confidential
  • Can be reached through mobile and web chat, phone and video
  • Are available 24/7 for immediate or scheduled sessions, at no cost

  • Counsellors that speak your language, understand your culture and are experienced in supporting the unique challenges international students face

Assaulted Women’s Helpline

The Assaulted Women’s Helpline is a free, anonymous and confidential 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis telephone line to all women in the province of Ontario who have experienced any form of abuse.  Deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Legal Aide Ontario

Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) will provide you with the services best suited to your legal matter. All our services are available in both English and French. St. Catharines General Hospital Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Treatment Program

Our team provides free, confidential, and specialized care to individuals who have experienced a recent sexual assault or are victims of intimate partner abuse.  The team consists of nurses for immediate care following an assault/abuse and social workers that provide short-term trauma counselling.
