In honour of Indigenous Peoples Day, the NC community is invited to join Deadly Yoga – a gentle yoga and breathwork practice for all bodies, all genders, all abilities and all levels of experience.

Due to weather conditions, the event will now take place indoors at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus Athletic Centre – Fitness Studio (Room N034).

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring their own yoga mat, as limited mats and props will be available.

We hope you’ll join us as we come together to slow down, connect, and honour National Indigenous History Month.

Let’s get real deadly*

In honour of Indigenous Peoples Day, you are invited to connect with the land in the Indigenous Garden and calm your mind through a gentle yoga and breathwork practice. This practice is for all bodies, all genders, all abilities, and all levels of yoga experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat, as limited mats and props will be available.  Wear comfortable clothing that feels good on your body. In event of inclement weather for either event, the workshop will be held in the Athletic Centre DJP – Fitness Studio (N034). Please check IE’s Instagram for location changes.

*Real deadly is a slang word known amongst Indigenous peoples in Canada to describe something as awesome, excellent, or great.
