Final grades for most programs are entered by faculty no later than Wednesday August 26, and posted to MyNC no later than Friday, August 28. NC’s Convocation ceremonies will be held the week of June 7, 2027 at the Welland Campus. The ceremony schedule will be posted well in advance to help you and your guests to make scheduling arrangements. For those who are unable to attend in person, ceremonies will be livestreamed and archived on the Convocation website.

No. Your program completion and graduation status are not delayed. Once you successfully complete your academic requirements, you will graduate. Graduation marks the completion of your program of study and receiving your credential (i.e., certificate, diploma, degree). Convocation is a symbolic event during which the College celebrates students who have graduated. The timing of the Convocation ceremony and conferral of credential is June 2027.

Following the completion of your program:

• A Confirmation of Graduation Letter will be emailed to you.
• Your official transcript will be available through myCreds.
• Graduates requiring additional verification of your credentials may contact [email protected] and we can help navigate the confirmation process.

These documents can be used to verify your graduation before the Convocation ceremony takes place.

In most cases you can send a copy of your transcript directly to your professional association. Your transcript will contain all of the information that they require.

You will receive your credential following your ceremony in June. Should you not attend your ceremony, your credential will be mailed to the address that we have on file. Yes, you will be able to RSVP for convocation. Information regarding the RSVP deadline will be communicated in the new year on the convocation website and via e-mail addresses on file.

Convocation updates will be sent to your Niagara College student email account. Students should regularly monitor their email for important announcements. If you expect to not check your NC email regularly after you graduate, we strongly encourage you to forward your emails to the personal account you use most frequently.

Yes. Students who complete their programs before June 2027 will still be eligible to participate in the June 2027 Convocation ceremonies.
