Computer Applications
This introductory course in computer applications provides a foundation in essential computer skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. A key component of the course focuses on developing your ability to engage in online and computer-assisted learning. Delivered through a modular, self-directed format, the course uses an online platform with optional, pre-scheduled instructor support available on campus or via Microsoft Teams. This approach allows you to progress independently while building practical, career-related skills applicable to real-world environments. Students are required to use the provided Microsoft Software and expected to have reliable access to a Windows-based computer system with internet connectivity, as well as basic hardware such as a camera, microphone, and speakers, to fully participate in course activities and online learning.
