Financial Accounting I
This course is designed, at the introductory level, to provide you with an overview of financial accounting. Generally accepted accounting principles will be used as the foundation for you to build your knowledge of the complete accounting cycle and financial statement preparation. Topics will also include adjusting and closing entries, bank reconciliations and petty cash. You will be challenged to account for merchandising activities and will apply various methods of costing ending inventories. You will complete a manual practice set using special journals that involve HST.
