NC Tourism professor Dr. Adam Weaver was featured on Newstalk 610 CKTB’s Niagara in the Morning, discussing his recent research published in Tourism Recreation Research examining major tourism attractions proposed but never built in Niagara Falls.
Speaking with host Steph Vivier, Weaver highlighted unrealized projects, including a Titanic museum, a Ripley’s Aquarium and a transcendental meditation theme park, and explored the factors that prevented them from moving forward. He also discussed how lessons from these proposals could inform future tourism development in Niagara Falls, emphasizing the need for more attractions to encourage visitors to extend their stays.
