Niagara Now: NC trades students help bring agricultural art installation to life

Niagara Now featured the Thanks for the Meal public art project in Niagara-on-the-Lake, which celebrates local farmers and the region’s agricultural history.

The article highlights the involvement of 12 NC trades students, who will help install the framing for the project’s first artwork, Three Sisters, beginning Oct. 13.

Designed by Indigenous artists Raymond Skye and Shayde Sandy, the installation will depict three women representing corn, beans and squash, with the tallest figure reaching 16 feet.
