There is still time for faculty and staff to get involved in Niagara College’s RESET (Reflect, Engage, Support, Empower, and Thrive) Mental Health and Wellbeing Conference by facilitating an interactive session for students. Session proposals must be submitted by Friday, Aug. 28.
Taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, RESET is a student-focused conference designed to support students’ mental health and overall wellbeing through a full day of interactive, hands-on sessions.
RESET follows the principles of Holistic Education, focusing on the growth of the whole person – head, hands, and heart.
Proposed sessions may explore a wide range of topics related to wellbeing, including, but not limited to:
- Movement and physical activity
- Nutrition and healthy habits
- Sleep and rest
- Relaxation and stress management
- Meditation and mindfulness
- Creative arts and expression
- Other holistic approaches that support student wellbeing
Facilitators are encouraged to submit proposals for sessions that are inclusive, interactive, and designed to actively engage students.
