Education News Canada shared the the Ontario Ministry of Emergency Preparedness and Response’s press release announcing that Niagara College has become the first post-secondary institution to join Ontario Corps, the province’s emergency preparedness network.
The article highlights how the partnership will encourage NC students, staff and faculty to volunteer with Ontario Corps through information sessions, community engagement initiatives and emergency preparedness activities. It also notes that the College will contribute its expertise in emergency management to help strengthen community resilience across Ontario.
