Niagara Now highlighted NC’s role in Radiant Care’s planned intergenerational community hub and fitness and wellness centre at Pleasant Manor in Virgil, a project that recently received a $150,000 boost through two community donations.
According to the report, the 25,000-square-foot space will be retrofitted to include a “living classroom” that will provide NC students with hands-on learning opportunities in a real-world care environment. The article notes that NC is expected to welcome its first cohort of 20 Personal Support Worker students to the site in September.
