The article details the 75,000-square-foot mass timber addition, designed by Montgomery Sisam Architects, which will feature a new entrance, pedestrian plaza, courtyard and atrium. New learning and clinical spaces will include a 40-chair dental clinic, dental laboratories, a virtual reality suite, general-use classrooms, pharmacy and paramedic labs, and flexible clinic space that can be booked for a variety of healthcare training and community uses.
