The NOTL Local reported on NC’s expansion of its Health Education Building, a project designed to help address growing demand for health-care professionals and expand access to community-based care.
Currently under construction at the Welland Campus, the expansion will support rising enrolment in high-demand programs including Nursing, Paramedicine, Personal Support Worker, Dental Hygiene and Pharmacy. The purpose-built mass timber addition will also bring together health-care programs currently housed across multiple campus locations, creating enhanced learning environments and additional training capacity for future health-care professionals.
