June marks National Indigenous History Month (NIHM) and Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21), a time to recognize and celebrate the rich history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples across Canada. It is also an opportunity for Canadians to reflect on reconciliation efforts and continue working toward a more equitable and inclusive future.
