NOTL Local posted an opinion piece from Owen Bjorgan on NC’s annual BioBlitz, which took place earlier this month at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in NOTL.
BioBlitz allowed attendees to learn about and search for local flora and fauna. Bjorgan, one of the event guides, spoke about the day’s activities such as the Biodiversity Walk, bird identification walk, a benthic macroinvertebrates station and an Indigenous knowledge exchange.
