Academica Group announced that NC has received a $3 million gift from the estate of Norris Walker in support of the new Health Education building. The brief mentions that when the building opens in 2027, it will allow NC to expand its educational offerings in applied health and offer more health services to community including an expanded dental clinic. The $3 million gift was announced at the 2026 NC Gala on Saturday, March 28, and when combined with a previous $4 million donation from the Norris Walker estate, is the largest legacy gift in NC’s history.
