The three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) profiled the 2025 Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame induction class, including NC alumna Carolyn Ladas (Social Service Worker program, 1981 and Early Childhood Education program, 1983).
The article notes that in her acceptance speech, Ladas, whose career scoring record for women’s basketball at Niagara College stood for 27 years, thanked, among others, “my amazing coaches who believed in me at five-foot-four.”
