Thorold Today reported on the new The Butter Tart Shack, an award-winning bakery, whose co-owner is NC alumnus Jason Young (Police Foundations program, 2007 and Cook II Apprenticeship – Basic program, 2012) who is preparing to open a cafe and production kitchen this spring.
The article highlights that Young, a Niagara College culinary graduate with more than two decades in the industry, said the business has grown rapidly since its beginnings in Port Colborne just three years ago.
