A recent Thorold Today article highlights the City of Welland’s long-term plans to transform the former “Mount Welland” industrial waste site into a future public green space known as Vista Park. As part of the early plans for the site, Niagara College students previously contributed to the project through a collaborative community partnership.
The article highlights that in 2017, a team of NC students worked alongside the City of Welland and Dillon Consulting to support a public engagement campaign focused on the park’s potential design and use.
