Welland Tribune: NC students support first-ever Niagara 2025 Ontario Parasport Games

The three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review, and Welland Tribune) reported on the first-ever Niagara 2025 Ontario Parasport Games, which brought several firsts to the region, including an athlete village, live streaming on CBC Gem, and a focus on supporting businesses run by people with disabilities. More than 400 athletes, coaches, officials and athlete assistants participated over the three-day event.

NC students contributed by filming and streaming competitions, putting their classroom learning into practice and helping ensure the games were accessible and inclusive. Their involvement was part of a broader community effort that included hundreds of volunteers and local partners, all helping to create a memorable experience for participants.
