The Lethbridge Herald recently spotlighted NC alumna Shannon McGuire (Baking and Pastry Arts program, 2015), owner and head pastry chef of Gold Cherry Bakery, for earning the 2025 Consumer Choice Award in the Cake Shop category for the Peel Region.
Gold Cherry Bakery is a custom cake and pastry shop in the GTA renowned for its artistry and quality and was honoured for its commitment to celebrating life’s special moments through exceptional taste and customer service.
The article also highlights that McGuire, along with her NC education holds a BBA in Food Business Management from the Culinary Institute of America.
