Nature Conservancy Canada reported on the completion of a major restoration project at Lathrop Nature Preserve that supports community & wildlife in Niagara region.
Seven years in the making, the pond restoration project will enhance water quality and improve habitat conditions for fish and other aquatic species. With the work now complete, trails throughout the preserve have officially reopened for public use and enjoyment.
The report highlights that the project had the support and collaboration of many partners, volunteers, and supporters, including Niagara College.
