The three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and the Welland Tribune) announced that Niagara College is gearing up for a major expansion — growing its nursing, dental and paramedicine programs and building a new health sciences facility aimed at training the next wave of front-line health-care professionals.
In response to mounting workforce gaps, rising student demand, and a growing and aging Niagara population, the project will support increased enrolment for existing and future programs within the School of Allied Health at the Welland Campus and is expected to break ground next year, with an estimated opening in 2027.
