Thorold Today, the NOTL Local, and Pelham Today reported on the recently published book, Landscape of Nations: Beyond the Mist, which features the writings of 17 scholars and knowledge holders on Indigenous history.
Landscape of Nations: Beyond the Mist is described as both a history of Indigenous Peoples and a “love story to the Niagara Region,” according to co-editor Tim Johnson at a book launch held at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum on November 2.
The article highlights that Karl Dockstader, Indigenous Cultural Advisor at Niagara College and co-host of the One Dish One Mic podcast, wrote the final chapter titled “A Cultural Conversation.”
