A message from NC’s Student Administrative Council (NCSAC):
It’s an exciting time for NCSAC!
This week, we launched our new NCSAC logo to officially introduce our refreshed look.
Change is inevitable, and something to be embraced, but that’s not a good enough reason to change a logo. A good reason to change a logo is that it’s not doing the job you want it to do – and because a simpler, more distinctive evolution of it could do that job better!
You may have also noticed fresh paint, new decals, and new digital signage throughout our spaces since the spring. Over the next few months, you’ll continue to see changes to the other visuals around campus as we update our brand. The NCSAC offices, website, Student Centres and our promotional booths will all be aligned with this new direction.
It’s still us. We’re still your NCSAC – not “NSAC” or “SAC” – but more consistent and, we hope, more instantly recognizable for all NC Knights.

The Speech Bubble inside the ‘A’ reflects that we are the Student Voice. We welcome conversation and advocate for students!
The clean, modern typography is easily readable at all scales.
The letters are friendly, yet professional to reflect our approachable and supportive initiatives for students.
Behind Our New Logo
Let’s be honest, our old logo was hard to understand. Students would regularly ask us to explain the shape and why it is the way it is. It wasn’t clear who we are and what we represent.
We wanted to change that with a crisp, clear logo that doesn’t require a head tilt to figure out.
It’s still us. We’re still your NCSAC – not “NSAC” or “SAC” – but more consistent and, we hope, more instantly recognizable for all NC Knights.
