On July 13 Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Movies and the Canadian Press released a profile on NC nursing student and professional boxer McKenzie Wright who will represent Canada at the Pan Am Games qualifiers in Cali, Colombia, in August.
The article highlights that if Wright earns one of the top four spots at the qualifiers, she will be able to compete at the Pan Am Games in Chile this October and if she earns a top two finish at the Pan Am Games, she will get to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
