On July 16, the Toronto Star and the three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) released an article about forty Niagara College student-athletes that earned provincial all-academic honours and eight student-athletes that earned Canadian all-academic honours.
Director of Athletics and Student Engagement, Michele O’Keefe is quoted in the article. “At Niagara College, we strive to support our student-athletes. Whether they’re on or off the field of play, we ultimately take our pride in developing the holistic student-athlete. And to have forty achieve such academic standing is amazing.”
