On June 1, the three Niagara dailies (the St. Catharines Standard, Welland Tribune and Niagara Falls Review) reported that NC has partnered with three educational partners and 16 craft breweries across the country to improve beer quality through the Craft Brewer Quality Project.
The idea started at Niagara College (NC) and brings together partners from three provinces, including Durham College, Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick’s CCNB-INNOV and Olds College from Alberta.
The breweries NC is working with in Ontario are Bench Brewing, Clifford Brewing Co., Imperial City Brew House and Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. Altogether, the project is bringing together 16 different breweries of different sizes across the country.
In the article, Kaitlin Vandenbosch, Director of Brewing and Beverage Operations at Bench Brewing mentioned that Niagara College was very helpful in rectifying any issues or problems within the lab process.
