A message from Fiona Allan, Vice President, Academic:

I am pleased to announce the second annual Ontario College Student Experience Survey (OCSES) will launch on Monday, January 30 through Friday, February 17 with all 24 publicly-funded colleges.

This 5-minute survey gathers student feedback on teaching and learning, program-related knowledge and skills, and work integrated learning. Upon completion of the survey, students may additionally choose to participate in a brief Student Services Survey.

The OCSES is not an evaluation of a specific course, subject, or teacher. Participating colleges use survey data for continuous improvement and system-level benchmarking.

Email invitations and unique survey links will be sent to students beyond the first term of their program. Notably, this survey provides an opportunity for first-term students from fall 2022 to provide feedback on their program and college experience.

Survey awareness campaigns for students will launch on social media and on campus this week. Reports will become available in spring 2023.

At Niagara College, the OCSES is supported by Planning and Institutional Research (PaIR) in collaboration with the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS), the survey administrator.

If you have any questions regarding the OCSES or the Student Services Survey, please contact Katerina Gonzalez, Director, Planning and Institutional Research.

Thank you,

Fiona Allan
