On May 11, the three Niagara Dailies posted an article about NC Teaching Distillery’s achievements at the 2022 U.S. Open Whisky and Spirits Championship. The Teaching Distillery’s accolades included: a gold medal in the gin flavoured/infused category for its Twisted Berry Gin, a gold in the flavoured whisky category for its Chocolate Porter Liqueur and a bronze in the dark rum/gold/barrel-aged rum category for its Dark Rum.
Artisan Distilling program alumna Emma Cuthbert is quoted in the article about her experience co-crafting the award-winning Twisted Berry Gin as part of her capstone project.
